What Are You Reading/Writing?

Twisted Sister Meg hijacking the blog today!

Whether you’re a writer or a reader, I want to know what you’re reading or writing? I’m in between books, both reading and writing. With an upcoming trip, I put aside a Tess Gerritsen–THE SURGEON–thought that would look powerful while reclining on a white sandy beach in warm sunny Cozumel.

I’m about to start on finishing a bunch of short stories I started way back when.

Please chime in with what’s going on with you. TC & I want to know.

  1. Reading? Nothing at the moment besides the notes for the book I’m working on.

Writing? Just the notes on the book I’m working on. You think you’ve got it all figured out and . . . well, that’s kind of the subject of my blog for tomorrow, so I’ll leave it there.

  2. Reading? WTMB entries of course. That’s it. Getting them judged and sent back in is my first priority. Everything else has gone by the wayside…including working on my own WIP. (ugh) Which should be incentive enough to get the entries judged asap, don’t you think?

  3. I’ve just read Marion Keyes’ The Other Side of the Story’. It’s a great insight into the publishing industry. Yes, even great books tank. Sad but true. I work in publishing but for a small independent so it was good to see the relationship between editors and writers is the same big or small and that marketing doesn’t always help every book.

    • Hey, BZ–
Thanks for commenting. I have never heard of Marion Keyes’ The Other Side of the Story. Think I will look it up.

What house do you work for?
You can contact me PM but we would all love to know!
